Description
This intriguing sounding plant was available in the Netherlands and so we bought some in the hope that it might be interesting.
It is more or less intermediate between the yellow macrocarpum and the white muscarimi, with long spikes of very pale yellow flowers which open from pale purple buds.
Highly fragrant and distinct from either of its relatives or parents and worth growing in its own right for both its flowers and its scent.
Well-drained, sunny loam soil with a dry summer rest is good and the plant does well here outside.
