Description
This is a strain raised from seed of the best large, white-flowering forms of N. cantabricus cantabricus found around Antiquera. It is not a clonal stock, this is a seed-raised stock, further maintained by division here. It exemplifies everything that is so good about these huge-flowered, and floriferous, southern Spanish forms and is, quite simply, the best, largest and most free-flowering form of cantabricus that we have ever seen or grown.
A splendid plant for pan cultivation under alpine glass, when its precocious, white, flared trumpets can be fully appreciated, though we find it is fully cold-hardy if you wish to put it outside. A sunny, south-facing spot in a well-drained compost is best if you prefer this and the species is capable of making good size when well grown.
