Description

A selection made by John Walker from a cross made between one of the Archibald selections of the petunioides form of the stunning, white cantabricus (male parent) crossed with the nicest available flower from romieuxii JCA.805 (female parent).  From the wider grex, the best plant was selected and increased vegetatively (only) being subsequently named for John’s wife I believe.

This superb plant has inherited the lovely flat-faced flower shape of petunioides and combines this with the subtlest changes of colouration from soft-yellow romieuxii, resulting a a gorgeous cream flower. The edge of the corona is hardly frilled and barely lobed, so that it makes a near-perfect, smooth disc outline. The flowers are of a good size and present beautifully on vigorous plants.

Readily grown under what we think of as our standard miniature Narcissus conditions.
