Description
A large, sturdy species, known in cultivation for many years but seldom seen in the wild. It has twisted bluish leaves over which it carries large flowers of golden yellow, with sideways-twisting petals. The widely flared trumpet is deeply lobed and deeply yellow!
An excellent flower and a good garden plant happy in a moist or peaty soil, or in full sun where it will not be quite as large in growth, though the flowers are still full sized.
