Description
(regarded by some as a form of Narcissus confusus)
Glaucous blue-green leaves which are only 5cm long at flowering time. Above the leaves are held good sized flowers on strong yet slender stems. This is, we find, slightly taller than what we regard as more typical N. confusus.
The petals are sulphur yellow (paler at the petal tips, darker at the base) whilst the tube is deep gold and it flares outwards gradually, opening widely at the mouth. The combination of these with the lovely leaf colouring is wonderful.
Our current small stock (August 2024 offering onwards) is raised from F & JK.0611
A wonderful, if rare, addition to our range. Sun with a well-drained soil is all that this lovely miniature asks for.
