Description
This is from southern Cape province in South Africa. It is a deciduous, winter growing plant with long thin, thread-like leaves. These may reach 30 cm in length but are so slender that they are never conspicuous.
The autumnal flowers, up to 20, are normally pale to mid pink and are characterised by a deep red stripe on their petals which have lovely waved edges. The form offered is a beautiful selection with bright pink flowers originally from the Witzenberg area near Ceres.
