Description
Stems of 20-45 cm are crowned with up to six widely expanded, saucer-shaped flowers. Slightly variable from white to pale rose pink. The petals are spotted purple towards the base and are not, or hardly, fringed at the edges. There is a dark red blotch where the nectary is situated.
Widespread in the wild but scarce in cultivation.
