Description
This has strongly nutmeg-scented flowers, more inclined to pink than purple, which are usually larger but on plants which are smaller than the more commonly seen form woodwardii. There are bristly hairs on the nerves, mid-rib and leaf petioles.
Lovely plants which have made a superb show here this spring, scenting the air for yards around.
