Description
A Japanese garden selection of this widespread species (although it is actually true falcatum, unlike many cultivated stocks).
The leaves are boldly striped with gold and silver, above which hover pure white comfit-flowers. The whole lot is borne on dwarf stems and this makes a lovely spot plant or pan subject. The strong variegation means that increase is sadly, very slow.
No special treatments are needed, just the usual light, humus-rich, damp but well-drained soil.
