Description
It has been many years since we were able to offer this exquisite little plant, perhaps the smallest of the Rhodohypoxis in cultivation.
Short dagger-like leaves, unusually, carry tufted hairs on both the top and bottom. The flowers are remarkably large for the size of the tiny bulbs and are pink stars, borne in stalked clusters, the weight of the flowers often pulling them down towards the ground. They have a distinct and delightful perfume.
I stress again that this plant has TINY corms; those offered are especially well-grown and look like small bulbs of “normal” cultivars, when they are actually massive bulbs of a miniature species!
