Description

Probably the largest of the Old World species and certainly the only yellow one. I have seen it described as European, but it in fact grows in Turkey and Syria.

It makes large yellow funnels, with a darker throat ring, in abundance, very early in the year and this stock is raised from the best, award-winning, Antalaya forms which were found in damp meadows rather than the “sandy soils” often ascribed to the species. Floriferous and long blooming.
