Description

A garden hybrid between cautleyoides and auriculata with white, pale cream or yellow hooded petals around a yellow lip. This is varyingly shot with violet veining and spotting all over. The intensity of the pink increases with the age of the flower.

This fertile hybrid plant is variable. The yellow base varies to near white whilst the red shades run from almost no purple to darkly flecked. Ours are not selected.

Vigorous, reaching 30-35 cm and suitable both for peat garden and general garden use.
