Description
The rare and little-seen, pure white form, with yellow anthers and a white ovary, to match the petals.
Makes a lovely counterpoint to the blue form but a good plant in its own right. Large heads of flowers borne on short pedicels that elongate with age, all held (on a short stout stem) in a large, conical head, becoming rounded as the myriad flowers open.
Long-lasting in flower and hardy here over many years, despite what “the books” might mistakenly suggest.
