Description

(Fessia)

This is the Scilla (or Fessia if you prefer) that looks like a Puschkinia! It has short spikes bearing palest blue flowers each with with deep, navy-blue anthers and a blue-green stripe down the centre of each petal. The flower spikes are borne close to the ground (when grown in good light) over narrow foliage and they are made very early in the spring.

Our stock is seed propagated, from an original collection made in Kirghizstan and it does well here in a sunny, raised bed in full sun.
