Everything about this plant is dwarf, from the narrow, tidy, ground hugging leaves to the pale to mid blue flowers held on short stems near to the ground.
Bone hardy but dwarf and so ideal in a pot or at the very front of a raised alpine bed. Loam soil and good drainage is all it asks.
A British native, this is not native stock however.
