Description
Deep green ribbed leaves alternate up a stem, and are remarkably reminiscent of Cypripedium leaves, however at the end of the stem this plant carries a small raceme of warm yellowish-brown flowers which have deeper, brick-red to purple tubes. Red berries follow in autumn.
A quiet Asian woodlander for the connoisseur. Ideal in a leafy spot in light shade where it will gently increase, a good accent plant.
