Description
This is a brand new (2014) cultivar of Smilacina japonica selected in Japan with powerfully variegated foliage, striped along its length in gold. The flower buds are similarly gold before they open to pure white stars, subtended by golden-yellow bracts.
A beautiful new clone, easily grown, but best in a humus-rich soil, in full sun, with ample moisture when in growth. It can be shaded later in the season if you wish to prolong its growing season and increase its size.
