Description
This is the smallest of the species with little up-facing champagne-flute flowers in pale lemon yellow, very early in the autumn.
Unlike the rest of the genus this one is an alpine pasture plant that tolerates summer damp and winter cold very well, indeed it resents hot dry conditions.
There are some poor forms of this plant, we think ours is a good one, but it is a miniature species so please bear in mind that a flowering-sized bulb is also very small.
