Description
This is the form, spread over Asia by the Persians since ancient times. The stock offered is a new one, raised from ARJA.0121.
Dazzling orange-scarlet with a small jet-black centre, faintly bordered yellow and with yellow pollen, each bloom 12 cm long.
It likes a sunny position in the garden in a well-drained, very fertile soil. This plant both appears early and flowers early in the ‘species’ Tulipa season – in April.
