Description
In many species of red Tulipa it is possible to find yellow flowered plants, the reverse is also true and here we have a new and rare, red form of this fantastic plant, with all the elegance and tolerance of the typical species, but bright red flowers.
The flowers appear bright red from the outside and in closed bud, but they have the thinnest of yellow lines bordering the outside of each petal. When opened the flowers display yellow and red inner petals, with the characteristic markings of this species. However the outers are red with more yellow at the base and edges. Hard to describe but a unique and fabulous combination of colourings.
