Crocus korolkowii albus

£8.00£10.00

Despatched September to October.

Description

Bunches of quite large, pure white flowers, without any of the yellow colour that is normally associated with this species. There is a trace of blue-grey stippling on the exterior, and the perianth tube has a curious turquoise-blue shade to it.

The expert will be thinking of Crocus alatavicus but the plant offered IS white korolkowii. This is discussed by A. Edwards in the 1998 Alpine Garden Society ‘Bulb Issue’.
