Description
Deep purple leaves sit behind a wonderfully doubled flower of soft, blackcurrant-purple infused with a subtle hint of pink.
The outer whorl of petals is composted of between six and eight petals (usually seven!) which in turn gives way gradually to an inner whorl of rounded, quite broad, petals of the same shade arranged in a diffuse button which tones from purple at the edges to white in the very centre, where a light appears to glow through the flower.
