Description
A wonderfully contrasted form with deep rich wine-red outer segments of pleasing, rounded form and an inner zone of slightly white, wine-dipped petals that change gradually from rounded to pointed as they get closer to the centre of the flower. The flower structure does vary according to the age of the flower and especially in relation to the establishment of the plant itself. The flowers become more developed and complex with increasing plant maturity and establishment.
The colour difference is very obvious, even from a distance and this still scarce plant remains in high demand in Japan.
