Description
This is endemic to the mountains of Cyprus and probably arose as an old, now-stabilised, hybrid between micrantha and heldreichii, – it shares characters with both.
Small leaves and rich, deep blue flowers in short, dense spikes.
This is a vigorous plant which does well in cultivation, in a well-drained sunny soil, where it flowers well early in the spring.
