Description
(Zagrosia)
Small, purple-skinned bulbs make 30cm stems with long, slender racemes of bright mid-blue, flat starry flowers, each one on a long pedicel. Flowering progresses up the stem as the buds open and the total time in bloom is much longer than the round-headed species.
Easy, outside in the garden in very light shade or full sun in a well-drained soil, the more fertile this is, the better will be flowering.
