Description
This is not the horticultural plant once called “siberica taurica” (which is now S. ingridae and which see).
Originally found in Crimea, Baidar valley, growing in oak woodland, at 800 m in 1983.
This is a particularly vigorous variety with surprisingly large racemes with up to 20 starry, deep blue flowers. Good for naturalising, eventually seeding itself prolifically.
