Description
This white form is one of many selections from the wonderfully variable Penza strain, which originated in central Russia. In the wild this apparently varies from white through pinks, reds, near blues and purples to shades of sludge. The variability also comes through in gardens where splendid seedlings abound.
The plants offered here are from a selected white, vegetatively propagated so they are actually white! If grown on, or naturalised, then seed from these (and other whites from the Penza strain) will yield some white offspring, whilst the rest express the inherent variability of the strain.
Easily grown in standard Corydalis conditions.
